Hey, I'm Marella
How My Business Was Built on Trust and Passion
I am the mother to 3 amazing adults who all thrive now, but each presented unique sleep challenges in our lives. Everything I learned from reading and committing to helping my children learn to sleep well and independently became topic of conversation at the park and birthday parties.
Soon, I was helping friends, and coworkers alike. In the workplace, in our local Children’s Hospital seeing every age of child with more than sleep challenges, but due to their circumstances, even the most rock star kids and parents suffered exhaustion and I was able to help some of them in a hospital environment, even when some medications worked against us.
This inspired me further research building strong sleep skills. Later, as a part-time Nanny to infants, I helped families find solutions to their unique families and circumstances, taking into account their parenting goals and philosophies. As I researched structured certification, I found my perfect fit – and I have built Blissfull Baby Sleep from my passions.

When it comes to passion versus my mission, there isn’t much, if any difference between the two for me. I am passionate about maternal mental and emotional well-being, seeing children thrive in every way and building strong families. Not only am I the mother of 3 amazing adults (yes, I sleep-trained them all at 4 months), but I also worked in the local pediatric hospital for most of my career, so the health and safety of kids is more like an obsession. My mission is based firmly on these same grounds. I know parenting is hard. It is the hardest thing I ever did!
